vA rapidly-growing company developing cutting-edge data collection and analytics software for refrigeration systems is looking for a Blockchain Engineer. This selected candidate will be in charge of integrating new tools and technologies to secure and optimize blockchain applications. The company is on a mission to help the grocery industry cut costs by using technology to make better, more proactive decisions. This will be a full-time role requiring some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hack through an initial MVP of products to transform them into horizontal platforms collaborating with the CEO, engineers, and the design team
• Develop and maintain smart contract protocols underlying no-code tooling for brands, loyalty tokens, NFTs, and other applications
• Collaborate with the full-stack development team for building connective infrastructure between web2 and on-chain data
• Experiment and implement new on-chain product ideas to drive value for brands
• Work alongside founding teams to drive and maintain the token design of the existing platform
• Help to maintain technical standards capable of attracting stellar engineers
• Keep improving the product design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Blockchain developer
• Must have a strong grasp over Solidity and Web3
• Expertise in working with Node.js is required
• Sound capacity to work with languages like Python is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cryptography for securing data will be beneficial
• Familiarity with Bitcoin blockchain technology is preferred
