The selected candidate will take part in the whole iOS development life cycle, including design, programming, testing, experimentation, analysis, and deployment. The firm allows users all around the world to create and join communities of like-minded people. This position requires an overlap with the PST time zone. The company has managed to raise close to $1.5 bn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create experiences and patterns for the official iOS app that improve essential processes such as viewing posts, commenting, and producing content
• Collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams is required to develop and implement advanced solutions to complicated problems
• Participate in the whole iOS development cycle: design, programming, testing, experimentation, analysis, and deployment
• Laying the technological groundwork for future products and experiences

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
• 5+ years of experience with iOS Development
• Knowledge of Objective-C
• Familiarity with Swift and Infrastructure
• Willingness to buck trends and learn new ways to build software
• Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves people’s lives globally
• Proficiency in English
