One of the world’s first cooperative SaaS platforms using blockchain, smart contract technology, and enabling users to collaborate freely and openly through the open-source platform, is looking for a React Native Engineer. The selected candidate will join the team and contribute to building the next version of the messaging and payments application. The company is funded by Kosmos Ventures, a leading multi-strategy VC firm. This job presents a great opportunity to join a globally distributed team and rise quickly through the ranks. It is a full-time, long-term role that requires at least 4 hours of time overlap with EST.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain React Native applications on multiple platforms
• Integrate mobile applications with native APIs
• Analyze and enhance the performance of the applications
• Write automated tests for quality assurance
• Diagnose and fix bugs in the application

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of React Native Engineering experience
• Proficient with React Native
• Experience with Fastlane, Firebase, and sockets
• Experience writing native modules for iOS and Android
• Self-starter with the ability to think deeply about architecture and infrastructure
• Experience with open source contributions is nice to have
• Previous experience in building and deploying apps to the app store with Fastlane
• Familiarity with app store review process and how to prepare materials and walkthrough for reviewers
• Understanding of communication protocols like Websocket and Firebase for notification
• Previous experience with a wallet or payment company is a plus
