A US-based company that is determined to help businesses prosper with their e-commerce solutions for the Amazon platform is looking for a PHP Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing tools and processes to implement end-to-end solutions. The company’s advanced software helps sellers to highlight the key metrics that enable them to run their business more efficiently. This will be a full-time long-term role requiring some overlap with the MT/ET time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain new features and fix bugs in the production application
• Take ownership of the development up to the implementation
• Perform technical research of the existing codes and web architecture
• Work with systems, QA, and customer success teams as needed
• Work with the product team and offer technical insights on new ideas
• Advocate for internal coding standards, design guidelines, and development best practices
• Participate in code review and offer feedback with respect and thoughtfulness
• Discuss and implement architectural standards and software design decisions with the team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience working with PHP/MySQL
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in AWS
• Understanding of Internet and web application fundamentals
• Demonstrable fluency in writing and modifying PHP
• Comprehensive knowledge of MySQL, Amazon Web Services, Git, and other common services
• Fluent in English with full communicating proficiency
