The developer will be helping the existing team to define their product specs through innovation and improvisation. The app helps couples to spend less time in planning while offering a wide range of activities that can make date night a memorable experience. The company has managed to raise $3mn in funding so far. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an agile and fun environment while working on complex issues and coming up with innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced apps for the Android platform
- Transform layouts and wireframes into clean and efficient codes
- Perform efficiency optimizations, quality checks, and usability of developed apps
- Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve performance
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and development teams
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as an Android developer
- Must have a thorough knowledge of using Kotlin and MVVM architecture
- Should be well-versed with REST-based API, Firebase, and Amplitude
- Knowledge of working with animations
- Expert app debugging and optimization skills
- Ability to build user interfaces using XML and custom UI components
- Strong unit testing capabilities
- Good written and spoken communication skills
