A rapidly-growing Edtech company developing innovative software applications for Universities and students is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems. The US-based company enables universities to go global by providing them with end-to-end virtual education and operation solutions. This position requires some overlap with the PDT time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a new robust web application
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive product roadmaps
• Familiarity with web application accessibility and writing accessible UX
• Participate in daily virtual team meetings and brainstorming sessions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• Extensive experience in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Nice to have experience in mobile app development and Android experience
• Demonstrable experience working with open source projects is a plus
• Solid education background would be a plus
