A fast-growing company that has developed a well-known platform for sharing content is looking for a Front-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing a modern user experience for communities and content. The company is creating a home for artists, new creative tools, and the next-generation video surface. The company has managed to successfully raise close to $1.5bn in funding. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on the front-end platform’s architectural redesign
• Drive new features from start to finish via prototype, validation, implementation, launch, and continual iteration
• Create a contemporary user experience for content and communities
• Lay the technological groundwork for future products and experiences

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript or Typescript
• Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Understanding software engineering best practices such as unit testing and code reviews, design, and documentation
• Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software that improves people’s lives globally
• Proficiency in English
