Job Description:

Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) requires highly motivated and competent individuals for the following Positions. For Handymax / Supramax / Panamax Bulk Carriers / Aframax Tanker under its Management.

Job Responsibilities:

• To establish long term contract with shipping lines for obtaining competitive rates, in order to secure competitive long terms freight solution.
• To develop a team of marketing and sales officers, having expertise of freight forwarding business.
• To devise mechanism for financial and commercial approvals.
• Establish and maintain long terms business relationship with exporters to grow the revenue with right pricing strategies.
• To conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• To prepare annual budgets, working papers & business feasibilities for management.
• To develop marketing and sustainable growth strategy to enter into export/import containerized shipping arrangements.
• To review sales activity reports, and other performance data to achieve sale targets.
• To establish a complete setup of freight forwarding section under NVOCC arrangement for private export/import cargoes.
• Develop and build upon relationships with customers to ensure the company can grow sales and presence in core areas.
• To be familiar with local custom procedures & negotiate rates/contracts with service providers/agents.
• To supervise all administrative, financial, legal and operational matters associated with Freight Forwarding Section.
