Analyze user requirements and work collaboratively with other team and squad members of developing test cases and implementing them via automation.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Analyze user stories /use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility throughout sprint/project life cycle
- Work collaboratively with other squad members including product owner, BA, development team members, users to ideate and develop test cases, and implement them via automation
- Create automation test plans, and configure these plan in test environments
- Take ownership and responsibility of executing all levels of testing (system, integration, regression, user)
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Own and manage defect tracking registers as per prescribed SOP
- Implement automation and behavior driven development practices
- Provide Build promotion, CI/CD management and package verification
Requirements Minimum Education
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computing/Technology fields
Minimum Experience Required:
- 3+ years of hands on experience in software testing for enterprise or large scale software implementation
Eligibility/ Skills Required:
- Development and execution of Test Cases
- Management of defect tracking reports
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Rally, Jira, TFS etc. to translate User Stories into working test plans and test cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test automation using Selenium
- Working knowledge of CI/CD workflow tools, Jenkins or similar
- Experience of Performance or Security Testing will be a big plus
- Knowledge about Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
