Exim Bank Careers for Senior Relationship Managers (Fresh Graduates)

Job Description:

Exim Bank of Pakistan, established by the government, is an institution dedicated to supporting export growth and implementing import  substitution projects. To expand the bank’s lending and insurance activities, it is seeking relationship managers and senior relationship managers, as well as entry-level positions.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing of Bank’s lending and insurance products in line with Budgets and Bank’s Risk Appetite / Mandate. Managing existing and developing
new relationships. This may include acting as administrative head / branch manager of regional branches. Managing relationships with internal / external parties like banks, insurance companies & DFls. Leading & undertaking due diligence, risk analysis, & mitigation in structuring
transactions. Foregoing is not exhaustive.

Candidates should have understanding of trade-finance and credit as well as strong relationships with local corporations and financial institutions, and ability to close deals with minimum supervision. Good comprehension of insurance (preferable) and lending products, financial analysis
techniques, forecasting, and business development is also sought. Experience in international trade, trade-finance, lending and likely in insurance regulations is required, together with superior communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge and interest in development banking would be desirable. Above all, candidates need to be self-motivated, take-on and demand increasing level of responsibility and result oriented and take pride of being part of initial team setting up a premier development bank in Pakistan which is being created with the highest level of corporate governance and geared towards having a meaningful economic impact for Pakistan.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of related work experience in/with financial institutions in Pakistan for Managerial Positions; minimum 12 months for entry-level positions (including internships).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or other relevant fields from an HEC recognized local university or a leading international university.
