The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Legal Researcher to join our team with immediate availability. Reporting to the Managing director, Legal Researcher will be responsible for finding and analysing information related to legal cases.
Legal researchers must be able to quickly find relevant information in large databases of documents. They must also have strong analytical skills so that they can determine which pieces of information are most important.
Responsibilities
• Keep up to date with legal news
• Prepare research schedules so work runs smoothly, and deadlines are clear
• Use the internet and/or libraries to source material
• Analyse material to ascertain its trustworthiness
• Write reports, notes and maintain databases on all the research carried out
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Legal Researcher preferred
• LLB (University of London graduate) or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent IT skills Including Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Word and Excel

• The ability to take large amounts of information and sift it for what is important
• A robust, methodical, and energetic approach
• An excellent attention span and high levels of concentration
• An aptitude for and/or interest in the law
• An eye for detail and for making connections
• A strong command of English and editing ability
