About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced UX and UI Designer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry. You will take the lead and utilize the incredible insights gathered from our talented analytic and research teams and be able to create a thought-out best-in-class experience for a vast array of clients and their customers. In doing so you will leave no corner unturned in the experience and interface the user receives in the output produced

Desired Skills and Experience

What You’ll Need

• Excellent design skills and experience using Adobe Suite and, ideally, Figma.
• Strong experience and understanding of the user-focused design process.
• Proven ability to create project appropriate UX and UI deliverables dependent on business and user goals, and scope.
• Skilled in understanding and designing complex user journeys for multiple user groups.
• Experience designing accessible app and website interfaces across different devices and platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills around quantitative and qualitative data to produce designs that meet user needs and provide a persuasive case to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working and communicating with developers to facilitate a smooth build process and to also understand constraints that may need to be considered in design.
• Experience working and communicating with clients, with the ability to run workshops and to clearly explain design process and decisions when appropriate, persuading stakeholders when required.
• Ability to show empathy when working closely with users, being able to listen to them and analyse what they say objectively, without making a personal interpretation.

GREAT TO HAVE

• Professional qualification and/or accreditation or equivalent experience gained in an appropriate field.
• Develop innovative user interface designs in response to marketing requirements, user analyses, product innovation, technology, and business needs.
• Develop conceptual models, personas, workflows, design prototypes, and user interface specifications.
• Present and explain complex concepts, designs and interaction models to a variety of audiences.
• Conceive, set, and implement user interface guidelines and standards, ensuring that these guidelines are followed during the development and maintenance of the product.
• Present design concepts and negotiate with stakeholders to arrive at a design that supports both the business and a strong user experience.
• Follow company and global design standards and apply these to designs.
• Provide accessible designs that are responsive to required form-factors and users with usability difficulties.
• Evangelize usability, simplicity and high-quality design.

Other Requirements

• A Bachelors, or Masters in subjects such as Computer Science, User Experience Design, Software Engineering or related subjects
• Three years or more experience in UX and/or UI design, or a related field.
• Proven commercial project experience, preferable in a relevant business vertical domain
• Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment
