PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Excite and Delight consumers of all ages with brands that matter via:
- Lead Brand Strategy Implementation
- Implement Marketing Campaigns and key marketing programs
- Manage Marketing at a country level
- Optimize Marketing Budget and Maximize ROI
- Develop actionable insights from Business, Market and Consumer Data
- Manage Relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage Team
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Lead Brand Strategy Implementation
- Lead implementation of Brand Positioning, driving brand equity, Brand Love and maximising profitability
- Identify key growth pillars and develop annual ATL marketing plans in-line with Annual operating plans
Implement Marketing Campaigns and key marketing programs
- Implement Marketing initiatives in line with aligned annual market development plans
- Develop Communication Plans, activations and Promotions and deploy / coordinate for flawless execution of the campaigns
- Implement an effective media strategy and media plans maximizing ROI
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing and operations teams ensuring all campaigns are aligned on time and properly executed
- Ensure Brand assets are distinctive, up to date and contemporary
- LTO calendar implementation, KV adaptation by market
Manage Marketing at a country level
- S&OP brand leader: forecast accuracy, cannibalization and boost plans implementation
- Assure pricing windows implementation and track government pricing dynamics
- Assure playbook by market/by Retail Environment and Digital Environment are fully rolled-out across region
- Local marketing budget control and management
- Develop a complete LSM playbook considering heatmaps, local and actionable consumer insights, eg key dates/holidays, core
- consumer groups and core events, menu costing and profit reports by market
- Assure new openings activation playbook implementation
- Responsible for the successful rollout of the marketingdelivery campaigns locally
Optimize Marketing Budget and Maximize ROI
- Plan, Manage and Monitor ATL budget (with scarcity mind-set)
- Timely budget commitments and approvals
- Issues, problems and anomalies in budget figures are identified, referred and resolved
Develop actionable insights from Business, Market and Consumer Data
- Track and analyse business and brand performance through internal sales, audit, consumer data against aligned goals
- Recommend actions based on analysis/ Create contingency plans to ensure keeping business on track
- Keep abreast of global and local market trends, competitor developments
- Input Insights into brand and innovation plans
- Competition tracking per market: LTOs, pricing, LFL sales, # openings
- Social/CRM listening at market level
Manage Relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Establish goals, objectives and strategies for task/ project
- Facilitate brainstorms
- Improve information sharing
- Develop business opportunities
- Negotiate solutions
- Co-lead agency and vendor relationships to tailor content/LTOs and engagement plans to local customer needs.
Manage Team
- Support HR in professional recruitment process with suitable candidates
- Ensure effective On-boarding of new employees
- Ensure Employee Engagement through regular and thorough communication and recognition
- Manage performance on a daily basis, conduct Performance and Development Reviews
- Build and develop a high performing, cross functional teams that can bridge numerous internal and external challenges and stakeholders.
Requirements:
8+years’ successful experience in marketing management, with P&L responsibility (not agency background only) in a Blue Chip company (ideally F&B) working with a team
Qualifications
- Business Management degree
- MBA (Advantageous)
- Should be mapped to Americana Competency framework
