Abacus Consulting is seeking an Inside Sales Executive who would be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities. In order to be successful in this role, the incumbent should be comfortable in communicating with prospects via phone and email.

Job Description:

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads
  • Understanding customers needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • ERP experience is a plus
  • Answering potential customers questions and sending additional information per email
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Researching and qualifying new leads
  • Strong telephone presence with an ability to engage prospects & clients on calls
  • Experienced in social selling and research-based lead generation
  • Must be passionate about learning and exploring B2B technologies


  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong listening and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve targets
